Study on the automation of offal sorting and transportation systems

AMPC partnered with NIRAS to perform an investigation and research into the optimisation of offal sortation and transportation systems. 

NIRAS consulted with Australian red meat processors to determine common issues they face with offal sortation and transportation. NIRAS then prepared solutions for these issues which included: 

-    Changing the method of handling condemned and healthy offal 
-    Separating the offal into two separate lines being red and green offal.
