Decision Intelligence using data to drive business decisions and R&D

This project was undertaken in an effort to replace timely/manual reporting practices the business was using drawing data from multiple different systems and replacing it with automated reporting system that draws data from all business systems via API’s storing it in a central location allowing a business intelligence software to sit over the top and provide automated reporting/dashboards to drive business decisions on a daily basis.

The project was performed through collaboration with our business and Toustone to firstly understand where all the data needed to be drawn from, how that data was relevant to different stakeholders and then finishing off with building tailored reports for different areas of the business to provide management with the information required to run the business more efficiently.

The key results from the project were significant efficiencies in reporting deliverables and in the quality/timeliness of that reporting, enabling faster, more confident decision-making, which is a benefit for anyone in the industry looking to implement such systems.
