Following on from the success of the Ireland Summit and the Good Meat Summit in Sydney, a summit was hosted in Colorado, USA in October 2024. Rod Polkiinghorne spoke at the summit and prepared a supporting paper. He was also joined by two scientists from the Birkenwood Institute. The paper will be published with other summit papers in Animal Frontiers.

The Summit presented recent scientific results that amplified the essential role of meat in human health and of livestock in converting human inedible grasses, shrubs and agricultural and food industry byproducts into nutrient-dense human food.
