This project focused on accelerating the adoption of new technologies by benchmarking the automotive manufacturing industry. 

It explored the potential for the red meat processing industry to adapt technologies and solutions from the automotive industry in the field of automation, material handling solutions, and management of processes and procedures. 

Several recommendations were identified including lean manufacturing mindset, layout, material handling, process documentation, throughput simulation, safety and ergo assessments, and automation.
