AMPC releases its 2025-2026 Annual Report
The annual report provides an overview of AMPC’s activities and performance, as well as the value delivered to Australian red meat processors.
The 2025-2026 financial year was the first that AMPC operated under three new pillar areas of industry excellence, innovation and technology leadership and growth and global competitiveness.
This report outlines our performance, provides a snapshot of our achievements and shows how we performed against the key performance indicators set out in the AMPC Annual Operating Plan.
AMPC CEO Edwina Toohey said this year’s performance demonstrated a continued focus on delivering strong value for levy payers.
“AMPC achieved a benefit-to-cost ratio for research and development projects of $6.49 for every $1 invested while achieving or partially achieving 100 per cent of our KPIs,” she said.
“Strengthening engagement with industry was a major priority this financial year, and I am pleased that we were able to directly connect with 84 per cent of our membership with more than a hundred visits to processing plants across Australia.
“These visits are central to understanding site-specific priorities, sharing project outcomes and connecting processors with relevant research, development and adoption opportunities.”
