Australian Meat Processor Corporation calling for Director

Australia’s red meat processing Research and Development Corporation, AMPC, is on the lookout for a new Independent Non-Executive Director to join its Board.

AMPC’s mission is to drive world-class innovation, adoption and strategic policy development through genuine partnerships which improve the sustainability and efficiency of the sector. 

The RDC has a skills-based board comprising of seven processor directors and two independent directors. The Board is responsible for developing the company’s policies, governing its operation, and monitoring its performance.

All director nominees require experience and skills in research and development, innovation, technology, and commercialisation. 

To contribute significantly to the AMPC Board, nominees must also have a sound understanding of finance and risk, governance, and community standards, as well as a strategic mindset and well-developed business acumen. 

In addition to their board role, the successful candidate will Chair the Audit & Risk Committee and be a member of the Nominations and Remuneration Committee.
