Applications are now open for the AMPC Safety Awards, which will recognise the contributions that AMPC processors and other industry participants make to ensure the sustainability of the Australian red meat processing industry.
The awards, which will be presented on Tuesday 25 March 2025 as part of the AMPC Safety Spotlight, cover a range of areas, including safety culture, integration of safety devices, safety design, and safety products and services.
AMPC Program Manager for People and Culture Amanda Carter said, “The Safety Awards dinner will provide an opportunity for red meat processors to come together to recognise innovative safety projects and to celebrate the exceptional work our industry delivers to keep workers safe.
“These awards will acknowledge industry leaders and the research and development that goes into producing leading-edge safety programs for the red meat processing industry.”
Award winners will be chosen by an independent panel of work, health, and safety experts from across the red meat processing industry.
Applications can be submitted online and close Friday 7 March at 5:00 pm AEST.
