AMPC today launches its new guidelines and templates for research and development reporting.
To support best practice, AMPC recently reviewed its reporting requirements and has applied a number of updates to its templates. Guidelines for final and milestone reporting were also developed to assist providers with presenting research and development outcomes in a clear and concise manner.
Previously, providers were required to submit a final report and snapshot report at the completion of an AMPC project. From January 2025, providers will no longer be required to submit a snapshot report. There will now be greater emphasis on producing a robust executive summary as part of the final report.
AMPC General Manager Research, Development and Extension Edwina Toohey said, “Research and development is what drives our industry forward.”
“We use the information supplied in final reports to communicate about the important research being conducted and its outcomes with our stakeholders including processors, government, and industry partners.
“Using communications channels like the AMPC website and monthly newsletter we can extend the latest research and development outcomes to facilitate industry adoption.
“With these updates, we hope to make the reporting process more efficient and valuable for our providers and processors.”
AMPC will be hosting a workshop in 2025 for its research and development providers and processors to demonstrate how to produce best practice reports. More details will be provided in the coming months.
