Handbook of Australian Meat (HAM) app
AUS-MEAT publishes the Handbook of Australian Meat (HAM), an international red meat manual that facilitates the use of accurate product descriptions in domestic and international trade. It enables exporters and importers of Australian products to communicate detailed specifications and descriptions of red meat items using a common language. This project, co-funded by MLA and AMPC, involved the development and launch of HAM as a free mobile app, providing users with easy, portable and up-to-date access to the AUS-MEAT product descriptions. Developed by ThinkDigital, the app enhances efficiency, searchability, hygiene, and professionalism while enabling rapid updates and continuous improvement. It also strengthens education, quality assurance and market access outcomes.
