Focus area: Energy
Program stream: Sustainability
Project number: 2020-1073
This project funded the evaluation of energy savings (and other benefits) of LED lights that are driven by the Internet of Things (Factory 4.0).

The project included selecting, designing, and evaluating a baseline batten type LED system from Kaftlig LED at an Australian meat processing plant.

The batten aseembly's design and technology were suitable, however the physical mounting led to the project being unsuccessful, as it did not align to the the production needs of the plant.
