AMPC contracted Veritide to evaluate the effectiveness of it’s modular faecal scanning technology (the BluMax Scanner) in Australian processing plants.

Trials were performed at an export beef processor for one week. The faecal scanning system was run at line speeds on hot carcases and confirmed that the technology can distinguish specific parts of carcases that are clean and those parts that are contaminated.
