30 September 2022
Focus area: Food safety
Program stream: Product & process integrity
Project number: 2021-1232
AMPC partnered with Veritide to evaluate the effectiveness of Veritide’s modular faecal scanning technology, the BluMax Scanner, in Australian red meat processing plants.

As part of this project, trials were performed at an Australian export sheep processor for one week. The system was run at line speeds on hot and cold carcases which confirmed the BluMax Scanner was able to determine, specific parts of carcases that were clean and those that were contaminated.
