Industry 4.0 – artificial intelligence / machine learning stage 1 (machine talking to humans)

20 June 2022
Focus area: Retention
Program stream: People & culture
Project number: 2022-1083
This project explored the best way to provide a visual representation of a large subset of data in the most user-friendly way to provide measurable, time-effective responses to performance and performance impacting (downtime) criteria at an Australian red meat processing plant.

As part of the first stage of this project, a centralised infographics data dashboard was developed for team members to review their performance. During the trial analysis period, team members became more aware of their performance. This led to individuals wanting to improve their skills to achieve the goals. Team members that were struggling received more training as required to assist with their outcomes.
