The PIEFA–AMPC membership (2023–2025) was established to provide ongoing curriculum advice, strategic education support, and targeted engagement to improve teacher and student understanding of the Australian meat processing sector. The partnership strengthened the alignment of AMPC-funded education resources with the Australian Curriculum and ensured these materials reflected contemporary classroom practice. Through this work, PIEFA consolidated and enhanced industry‑approved resources, developed new supporting materials, and delivered scalable digital content through Primezone Academy.

Over the three-year period, the membership delivered curriculum-aligned resources in classroom-ready formats, including interactive card games, digital courses, and professional learning materials. A new data processing and analysis resource was also developed and approved. These deliverables were complemented by ongoing marketing, communication and engagement activities that leveraged PIEFA’s national networks to maintain strong visibility and uptake among educators. Twice-yearly impact reporting supported transparency and helped refine engagement strategies.

Overall, the membership generated significant value for AMPC and the broader industry by maximising return on education investment, strengthening teacher confidence, and promoting accurate, consistent messaging about the meat processing sector. The coordinated approach enhanced awareness of industry careers, sustainability and innovation, supporting long-term student engagement and workforce awareness.
