Economic impact assessment of ten projects completed in 2023/24

GHD completed an independent evaluation of a sample of ten AMPC projects completed in the 2023/24 financial year to assess the expected benefits and return on investment. Overall the study revealed a positive economic return, with a weighted average benefit-cost ratio (BCR) of 6.3 over 30 years. BCRs for individual projects ranged between 1.3 to 8.0.  

These results align with past RDC evaluations and highlight significant economic, environmental, and social benefits, supporting informed decision-making for future R&D investments.
