Stanbroke engaged with Wearable Assessment Technologies - Joint Action Solutions (WATJAS) to undertake manual handling task risk assessments at their Grantham site in Queensland. Workers were fitted with wearable sensors and resumed their operational manual tasks. Data from the sensors allowed for risk assessments to be conducted on all operational manual tasks.
The project was successful and processes remains ongoing as risk controls are implemented. Staff engagement in the safety process has been positive and is continuing to identify further risk reductions.
