This project built on work delivered as part of ‘
waterless lamb Frenching concept trials’ which looked at developing an automated waterless Frenching solution as a safe and sustainable alternative to Frenching with water or knives.
As part of this project, improvements to the automated solution were applied and trials were conducted to improve the performance and repeatability of the technology.
Further development of the solution is required as the repeatability achieved during the trials was too low for commercialisation.
