Thank you to the processors who participated in our levy payer survey in July. This is our second processor survey following on from our inaugural survey last year. Telephone surveys were conducted, and responses provided were from 56 meat processing plants.
Overall, the survey showed high satisfaction with AMPC which we are proud of. More importantly, we want to focus on the recommendations for improvement.
We are dedicated to improving our service to processors and will actively pursue the recommendations outlined below.
The survey is conducted each year so that we can track our progress and continually improve our service. The results below provide a comparison from this year to last year.
Observations and trends
- AMPC processors continue to report overall high satisfaction and advocacy with AMPC. Processors appreciate the quality industry knowledge AMPC provides, and the helpful service they receive. They recognise the integral role AMPC plays in the processing industry.
- The overall satisfaction rating for AMPC was 84% which is an exceptional result.
- The scores for our Net Promoter Score (NPS) and overall satisfaction have softened slightly since 2021. These results are reflective of the new approach taken by AMPC in 2022 - the survey was extended to include all AMPC processors and there was a broader response. Despite this, our results are still above industry standards.
- For some processors, their previous unfavourable experiences are improving and trending in the right direction however are not at a high promoter level yet.
- Innovation and thought leadership are a particular strength of AMPC.
- Processors prefer to stay informed through direct contact from AMPC, and prefer to engage with the monthly processor newsletter.
- The processor newsletters have the greatest reach and are the most effective form of AMPC communication.
- One to four visits from AMPC per year continue to be the most desirable.
