Communications
AMPC seeks to provide the outcomes of its Research, Development & Extension/Education (RD&E) projects through a number of communication channels to members, Government and key stakeholders including research organisations and technical providers.
AMPC partners with the Meat Industry Training and Advisory Council to support a series of Networks that engage processor members in active forums on research project outcomes and results. In addition, AMPC and MINTRAC work together to identify information needs of processors and address these through targeted education, training and professional development initiatives.
AMPC, with its partner organisations, develops factsheets and case studies to report the outcomes of research, development and extension projects to members on a regular basis.
AMPC organises conference events, including this year’s event 'Changing the Climate: Powering New Ideas in Meat Processing' to be held in Sydney, 24-25th May. Click here for information on this event and go to the events calendar to view other events that AMPC holds or contributes to with its partner organisations.
Coming up will be meat science tutorials covering a range of topics, to be developed and delivered by MINTRAC on behalf of AMPC and in partnership with Meat and Livestock Australia and CSIRO.
